Terms and Conditions (once your date has been secured)

1.) Both myself and any assistants use will provide our services with reasonable care and skill on the date and time agreed and make you and your wedding party look gorgeous! I will use my own products/kit to carry out your wedding makeup service unless specific products have been pre-agreed due to sensitivities etc. I may need to substitute products that I used during your trial to achieve a similar finish depending on product availability/use by dates or any other influencing factors.

2.)Any known allergies or sensitivities must be brought to my attention before any makeup services are carried out so alternatives can be agreed, or the area avoided. In the unlikely event of a new reaction on a member of the bridal party, correct industry contra-action process will be followed. This may require that the makeup application is restricted or not carried out entirely. I will be happy to provide further clarification on this if required. 
 

3.)To carry out your wedding makeup comfortably and safely, please arrange a suitable area for me to work at the venue where you will be getting ready on the day. This includes space to lay out products and ideally with as much natural light as possible. 

4.)Timings for your makeup will be agreed with you well in advance Ideally all your prep should happen in one place and not have to move rooms/locations. Your wedding venue should be able to advise you on this if you don’t have access to the bridal suite on the morning of your wedding. 
 

5.)I would love to use appropriate photos, client testimonials or other media from your makeup trial or wedding day for promotional or marketing purposes. This may include social media or printed materials such as leaflets/posters. If you wish to opt out of this, please let me know in writing. (Trial images are never used until after the wedding day)

6.)Should members of the bridal party have their makeup done by another makeup artist that isn’t directly assisting me, generally I would be unable to correct or enhance their makeup as part of the bridal party prep. I may be able to redo a makeup in part or full if required, however this is dependent on how it will impact the time we have remaining for your attendants booked in with me. These corrective makeups would be charged as an ad hoc booking as described below. 

7.)Your deposit is 50% of the full balance for the wedding day and is payable by bank transfer/ cash if paying in person. Until your deposit is received, your date is not secured so early booking of your makeup trial is advised if you aren’t securing your date in advance. Any changes to the number of additional party members to be made no later a month before the wedding. You will be charged for the number of people you initially paid a deposit for after this time. 
 

8.)Your date will be held for a maximum of 3 days following your makeup trial before being released to other potential bookings. Should you decide to secure your date in advance, you are welcome to book your makeup trial at a time to suit you. Please see my FAQ page for further information on the best time to have your trial. 

9.)The remaining balance of the wedding package is payable no later than 14 days before the wedding day by bank transfer or cash. If you wish to pay in advance at any point please let me know. 
 

10.)I would be delighted to add any additional makeups to your wedding day after your initial deposit is paid. These additional makeups will be added on to your final balance. Please let me know and we will discuss if they can be fitted into your time schedule (I may need to bring an assistant with me)

11.)All makeups are best booked in advance of the day. Any ad hoc makeups on the day without compromising on quality of service or affecting the prompt running of your morning. These bookings have the standard rate of £60 per person and are payable on completion of the makeup.
 

12.)All deposits are non-refundable except in the very unlikely event of me cancelling your booking due to exceptional circumstances. Should I be unable to carry out your booking, all monies with the exception of any makeup trials will be returned to you and I will attempt to source a trusted and experienced makeup artist to stand in for me. 

13.) Should you want me to stay for any extra time (10 minutes after the final makeup application is finished is included with your booking) £10 per additional 15 minutes will be chargeable to you. 

If you are changing locations on your wedding morning, the time it takes to travel will be charged at the above rate plus mileage. 

By paying your deposit you agree to the terms of this agreement. 

This agreement represents all the terms and conditions agreed upon by the parties. No other understanding or representations, oral or otherwise, regarding the agreement shall bind any of the parties. 

I recognise that your wedding day will be one of the most memorable days of your entire life. It is my pleasure to help make this a fun and unforgettable experience for both you and your wedding party, and of course to make you look and feel the ultimate version of yourself!
